Who Was Nostradamus?
Michel de Nostredame (Nostradamus) was born in the south of France in 1503. At the age of fifteen he entered the University of Avignon, however he only remained there for a year as the university was forced to close due to the Bubonic plague.
When Nostradamus left Avignon he travelled the countryside of France for eight years researching herbal remedies. He worked for several years as an apothecary (pharmacist) before entering the University of Montpelier to study medicine. He was however expelled shortly afterwards as it was discovered that he had been an apothecary which was considered a ‘manual’ trade’ which was banned from universities. After being expelled Nostradamus continued working as an apothecary and is became famous for discovering a ‘rose pill’ which was considered a protection against the plague.
He was quite successful in attempts to reducing the impact of the plague by introducing methods which we would consider common sense today, but in the 1500’s they were revolutionary.
Apart from being ahead of his time regarding medicine Nostradamus had a keen interest in astrology and this probably marked the beginning of his predictions.
Nostradamus Predictions For 2012
Nostradamus predictions are all a matter of interpretation as of course he existed in a different time and a different world to now, and what he did or didn’t see would have been totally alien to him, and therefore hard for him to describe or put into words.
His predictions for 2012 have been interpreted by some as seeing world war three. He predicted that world war three would start in 2010 and end in 2019, and that we would see an increase in natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes. Not very happy predictions unfortunately, but no one can deny that these things have happened.
But what can we do?
Some believe that what happens to the earth has to do with the balances of the forces of good and evil. Currently the forces are 70% good and 30% evil but when this balance changes even temporarily we experience war andfamine and disaster.
There is also a belief that we are already experiencing changes that are leading to Armageddon. The only way to defeat this is to recover the balance between good and evil and to do this we must all become more spiritual and less greedy.

- The blood of the just will commit a fault at London,

The Death of Princess Diana
- The penultimate of the surname of Prophet
Will take Diana [Thursday] for his day and rest:
He will wander because of a frantic head,
And delivering a great people from subjection.
The Assasination of JFK and RFK
- The great man will be struck down in the day by a thunderbolt,
An evil deed foretold by the bearer of a petition.
According to the prediction, another falls at night time.
Conflict at Reims, London and a pestilence in Tuscany
September 11 2001
- Earthshaking fire from the center of the Earth
Will cause tremors around the New City.
Two great rocks will war for a long time,
Then Arethusa will redden a new river.
Hurricane Katrina
- The cities of Tours, Orleans, Blois, Angers, Reims and Nantes
Are troubled by sudden change.
Tents will be pitched by (people) of foreign tongues;
Rivers, darts at Rennes, shaking of land and sea.
